I've repeatedly inserted an SD card into my MacBook Pro but am unable to see it.
I'm new to Mac product and the card was formatted in a Windows 7 system. It has documents on it which I'd like to edit.
I could understand not being able to access it, but, the Macbook Pro gives absolutely no indication the SD card was inserted into the slot.
I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.
Suggestions?
did you click "Finder" I am also new to mac and try to learn as much as i can.
is your SD Card Formatted using NTFS?
See under disk utility how it's formatted.
I had the same problem. I tried everything that everyone's suggested, but no results. Then I sprayed a can of air/duster into the slot. Voila! It works!
Ha! I was having all the same problems, and simply blew into the card slot.......... good as new!
I blew in the slot and now it works as well!!
I had the exact same issue, and sprayed Duster into the slot- and like magic!! it's working perfectly. 🙂 Hope this helps anyone else who can't access their SD card with the card reader on their Mac.
