Q: The movie I bought off of Apple TV is gone.

I bought a movie off of Apple TV but it did not download to my iTunes. I received the e-mail receipt (&19.99) but I can't find the movie. I live in Ontario and I just read that movies are not available for purchase outside of the US. Will I be credited?

AppleTV 2, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

I'm in Detroit not far from you. Here we can redownload them at no cost as long as we purchased it. Outside of us you can't, I don't know why. I'd just call iTunes support and find out the deal so you don't encounter this in the future. Let me know. I'm curious.

Just for the heII of it, did you check your iTunes account under purchases to see if you could download it?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.

You shouldn't be able to purchase movies in Canada. I did notice here though they had some triple sets for sale on the UK store and wasn't quite sure how they would work. I can only think that these offerings have slipped through the system and shouldn't be there, unless they can be downloaded using the check for downloads option in the store menu in iTunes itself.

If you are unable to download them via the store menu in iTunes, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer.

Purchased section only displays Music, Apps and Books. Thanks though.

I agree, if I can't buy the movie (Kill Bill) it shouldn't give me the option to and certainly shouldn't bill my account for it. I clicked "report a problem" as suggested and will call support eventually. I'll let you know. Thanks.

You'll probably find that on Netflix.
