Jul 9, 2012 9:37 PM in response to Laxman25by Nurcin,Thanks but it didn't solve my problem. The apple tv can't find my wifi network. It can't actually find any wifi networks in my building. I can connect to my wifi with other computers but not with the apple tv. I tried re-stetrting, re-setting even plugging in and out the hdmi cables, re-starting the router etc nothing worked.

Jul 9, 2012 9:43 PM in response to Nurcinby SimonAshmore,Did you configure your Wifi originally?
Is the Wifi name - SSID visible from other devices that arnt already connected to it?
Possibly SSID broadcast is off, You can turn off the broadcast of the SSID at the router so it does not show, you will need to manually enter the SSID into the ATV.
or maybe the ATv is rooted...

Jul 9, 2012 9:43 PM in response to Nurcinby Laxman25,If it was me...... I'd take it to a friends or parents and try to see if it recognizes one. If not then I'd take it back to apple. If its under warranty you'd most likely get a new one.

Jul 9, 2012 9:49 PM in response to Nurcinby Laxman25,It has to be the apple tv. Sometimes you rack your brain so much figuring this crap out, but most likely it's just a faulty apple tv. Happens I guess...you'll get a new one.

Jul 26, 2012 10:09 AM in response to Nurcinby Jhughes1986,Hey, did this solve your issue? I ask because I had the same problem which came out of the blue (it had worked fine previously) I swapped it at the apple store, for a brand new device, but after bringing it home and running the neccessary os update, it had the same problem. I'm guessing it something to do with the most recent update. Has anyone found a workaround?

Jul 26, 2012 10:58 AM in response to pulgagrby Jhughes1986,I wouldn't bother - seems to be a problem with the OS. My replacement had the same issue.

Jul 31, 2012 2:51 AM in response to Nurcinby Miketee,I seemed to have this problem, I had to just plug the ethernet into the Apple TV and it worked fine after that.
It wasn't connecting to my wifi correctly, so I connected it through the "Configure TCP/IP" and I could access my internet, but because I was not on the wifi connection, it would communicate with my iPhone.
