    If you have an airport extreme try updating the software on it then restarting the apple tv. This fixed it for me. Problem seemed to start with the latest update.

    Im having the same problem since last update with my aTV3. Im using a perfectly configured airport express.

    I am having the exact same problem.  Will the Apple store give you a new one if its

    more than 3 months old. I have had mine for about 6 months.

    ... this is the only Apple product that has given me problems.

    I am having 2 of 3rd Apple TV. One of theme from day 1 The WIFI is not working and I connected by Ethernet, now I need to move it to other room. It is not trying find any network the circle is not displaying. the second is working good every ware.

    Same problem for me. Apple tv was working fine. One day while every other device could link to the wifi network fine, my apple tv would not even see a wifi network.

    The only thing that solved it for me was a complete reset.

     

    Choose Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

    or

    Hold down both Menu and Down on the Apple Remote until the Apple TV status light blinks rapidly.
