unable to join network 2WIRE

my ipod keeps saying "unable to join network 2WIRE###". I have reset my network settings, reset my ipod,did the "forget network" thing and tried again but it still kept saing "unable to joing the network". Sometimes it would ask for the password and when i put the password in it would say "incorrect password" even when i put the correct password. my ipod is version 5.1.1
