how to open excell spreadsheets

I was using office mac and now when I upgraded to Lion the programs are not supported. Any quick fixes? Can I unistall Lion? Can I upgrade my Office program?

I would recommend upgrading Office, since this will give you a faster experience overall when using it, rather than continuing to use the older version of Office that has older code which needs to be translated in order to work on your computer.
