Webex client on Safari with Intel Mac

Anyone tried to host or join a Webex meeting using Safari on Mac OS 10.4.5 on the Intel platform?

I cannot get it to work and have tried Firefox, Safari, and (old) Internet Explorer.

While tring to join a meeting the webex client launches an applet called 'JVMDetect' and then nothing happens after that.

I have searched these forums and obviously Google but do not see any others with this problem. Please advise if you have this working and I'll continue troubleshooting my setup.

I spoke to WebEx and here is their response. Unfortunately, NOT the answer I wanted but am posting in case anyone else is wondering about why it doesn't work.

I can confirm this response. I talked to WebEx today (03/24/06) and they do not have support for Intel based Mac and said it was at least 6 months out. Sounds like very poor planning on their end.
