no. Due to the sandboxed nature of the iPad - where there is no overall file manger and all apps operately largely independantly from each other - a virus - in the definition of a malicious program that propogates itself across the operating system - can't exist.
In addition to that, the iOS that the iPad runs on is a totally different system than what Macs and PC's run on, so viruses written for them wn't run on the iPad.
you can still experience hacked links or bad sites (such as if some bad guy hacks a site and puts in a redirect to a bad site ) but viruses can't install or run on the iOS.
There may eventually be one, but as of now there is no known virus for the iOS operating system.
