mac book pro wont turn on

Mac Book Pro froze when mid use completely.

I did master shut down by holding down power button. Now it wont turn back on.

The cd drive is whirring and the sleep light is flashing three times intermittantly.

I cannot remove cd even by doing the master eject (holding down mouse pad) or get response from comp.

the charger light is green when battery is removed and orange when battery is in. however the battery light is flashing on the 5th light so i am presuming this means it is charged.

I have had the comp repaired 5 months ago with new hard drive and new battery at genius bar.Maybe i should have opted for the 'throw it out the window' option instead of shelling out £500.

I have booked genius bar for tomrorw but have urgent files i need to get off the comp so if anyone can help me i'd appreciate it.

thanks

I think the fast flashing LED on the battery means the battery is completely drained. Leave plugged into chager for an hour or 2, then try to power up.

The mag safe connector is orange when trying to charge the battery and green then powereing the system and not charging.
