My mini keeps trying to open a .stix files in textedit then textedit gives me an error saying " file 'Windows Media.stix' could not be opened using text encoding Traditional CHinese (Mac OS)."
I do not know what program to open this file with! Please Help!
You can download the free
StuffIt Expander to decompress those .sitx files. The Stuffit Expander used to come with a new Mac, but it isn't included any more.
Stuffit, at one time, was going to drop all free versions till some users complained. Additionally Smith Micro (Makers of FAXstfX) took over Allume operations.
What if i still can't open the .stix formated file, for instance, I downloaded WMP from micosoft website and the StuffIt expander but I still can't get WMP to work.
All I get when opening StuffIt is "There is no default app specified to open the document "StuffItSTD8.0.2.stx""
