Turn on home sharing using iPad?

Question

I'm trying to get Home Sharing to turn on from my iPad, but it's not working. ): Any ideas?

sorry to ask a silly question, but have your enabled Home Sharing in iTunes on your computer and is your computer and iTunes on?

Also you need to have internet access to turn Home Sharing on.

1. It must also be enabled on the desktop, not only on the iPad (under Settings > Video > Home Sharing)

2. if you did enable it on the desktop iTunes, have you logged into exactly the same iTunes account?
