I want to play DisneyJr videos on our upcoming road trip from my iPhone on our car tv screen. Can I do this without jailbreaking my phone?
I know I need to buy a A/V cord and download Cydia (I think - correct me if I'm wrong).

Cydia is an iphone hack.
If you have the proper cables, then you should be able to watch movies on your car screen just as you could on your home screen without hacking the iphone.
Thank you! I seriously have no idea what jailbreaking is...I just Googled how to play my iPhone on the tv and videos came up. I just want to play some videos so my kids don't drive me crazy on our road trip!

Who the heck is talking hacking here? The guy just want to know how to play video from his phone to a TV screen. Apple sells cables to do that. Now, is there a bluetooth solution to that?
Nevermind that this is an old thread, but you must've missed the Cydia part in the original post, which is a jailbreak, which is a hack.
