Q: iPod frozen

Hold the Power and Home Button for 15 secconds, let go of the power button but keep holding the home button and hold the home button for 10 seccods until your computer detects it. iTunes should says that it is in recovery mode (it's actually in DFU mode, but that won't change anything). Now restore your iPod again.

- Try resetting the iPod:

Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Then connect and try to restore via iTunes.

- Next try placing the iPod in Recovery mode and then try a restore.

- If you can't turn the iPod completely off (that is required for recovery mode), let the battery fully drain. After charging for at least an hour try the above again.

- If that did not work but you could turn the iPod off, try placing the iPod in DFU mode and then restore.
