Albums shows zero count
Several of my albums show a zero count, but when I select them I see all the pictures. I am using v. 3.3.1
Thanks,
Ken

Have you tried a library repair? If not follow the instructions show on Aperture 3: Troubleshooting Basics
Post back if that doesn;t solve your problem.

This corrected the individual album counts within the project, but the project still says zero.
You're original post just mentioned albums showing a count of zero. Mo mention of projects.
So what exactly are the problems you are experiencing? Also what types of albums are we talking about, regular or smart?
The albums were enclosed in a project. The albums are not correct, but the project shows zero. The albums are not smart.
Morning,
I'm confused, you marked the thread as solved but your last post is difficult to read.
Is the problem solved or are you still having problems?
regards
I can't remember hitting the solved button, but in any case I still have the albums enclosed in a project. The albums are not correct, but the project shows zero. The albums are not smart.
Hi Kenneth,
Could you post of screenshot of the Library tab of your Inspector, with the Projects section fully expanded and the Project in question selected?
How did you put Images in that Project? How many Images do you expect it to contain?
OK now I'm extra confused. You reponded to my post suggesting the library repair saying
This corrected the individual album counts within the project, but the project still says zero.
Then I asked just what you're problem was because in your original post you never mentioned the projects just the albums.
Now in your last two posts you seem to be saying that the albums are still wrong.
The albums are not correct, but the project shows zero.
So if you could rephrase what you're experiencing now we might be able to help.
regards
Almost positive that was a typo, "Not" should be "now", thus:
The albums are not now correct, but the project shows zero.
You're right, this should be "now" correct. Sorry
Right that was my first though also but he did it twice in two different posts so a confimation of just where we're at seemed in order 😉
Ok so the library repair fixed the problem with the album count but your projects still show 0 images in threm?
Is this all projects or only projects with albums in them? If you make a new project and add images to it does it show the correct count? Is the count being shown when you mouse over it or do you have the option to show the count set in the preferences? Whichever it si if you switch to the oposite does anything change?
Agree.
Kenneth -- can you carefully summarize and also provide a screenshot? Between too-brief descriptions, incomplete names, typos, and mis-clicked forum controls, you've left a difficult trail to follow. Thanks.
Kenneth -- still need more information to help you. As asked in my message to which you replied:
How did you put Images in that Project? How many Images do you expect it to contain?
