Q: MOVING FILES
HOW DO YOU MOVE A FILE TO A FOLDER THAT IS NOT VISIBLE ON DESKTOP?

Either open the folder in another window, or use spring loaded folders (Finder Preferences) to have it pop open a starting point in your sidebar (or anywhere else) and navigate from there.
With Spring Loaded folders, when you hover over a folder with a Finder item, it will pop open that folder and you can continue that way working your way down into the folder hierarchy.
