Updating to iOs 5

I haven't had access to my computer since last October and when I got access to it again, I found out iOs 5 is available for my iPod touch. When I tried to upgrade, it said my iPod had to restore so it did. However, I didn't have Administrative access to download some software or hardware so it stopped half way through with my iPod in recovery mode. Now when I try to plug my iPod into the computer, iTunes cannot find my iPod at all to restore it. What do I do?

- See if this program will get the iPod put of recovery mode:

- Do you remember the error message or more about the problem you encountered?

Restoring the iPod will also update it so you may have the same problem again.

- Try manually placing the iPod in Recovery mode and then try restoring.

- Try DFU mode too:

- Try restoring on another computer.
