I don't know why, but my sd card reader stop recognize any card.
I have to take the card out and put it in a few time to make it work and I don't suceed all the time.
I'm wondering what can I do to check if the reader isn't broken...

Have you resolve this issue. I've the same problem.
When you start the computer, for the first time all goes well as we expected.
After you take out the card and try it to put the card again for reading more photos, in my case, It doesn't work no more. I have to reboot the machine so the computer starts to read again the card.
Any possible solution before I take it to the Apple Technicians?

Right now, the reader is still working, but I didn't find the problem.
So if you want to contact Apple Tech, go for it!
