How do you activate apple tv?
My apple tv will not accept my apple ID or password. What should I do
Try going to settings, general, reset. Restores your apple tv. Them try logging in. Happened to me before and that fixed it. Could be a bug.

No Bug, it's unable to connect to the intenet correctly, it's a network issue.

Others reset it and worked like me. Thats just an OPTION. Something for her to try. Leaving her hang at a network issue doesnt help solve anything.
There's nothing wrong with restarting, I'd suggest it myself, I was only commenting on the suggestion that it's a bug, which it isn't.
If the account info is correct and it won't accept it, it's because it isn't connecting to the iTunes server properly, there are many reasons this might be the case, some of which may just be temporary such as a problem with the server but they are all to do with the connection not a bug on the Apple TV.
I recommend resetting your Apple ID password.
