Plz, let me know about legal entity name

I got a problem for iBookstore online application.

I received a mail from apple.
Apple said "we had an issue verifying your U..S. Tax ID and legal entity name with the records at the IRS.
Please find attached a diagram showing which fields on the confirmation letter you received from the IRS equal the Legal Entity Name and U.S. Tax ID on the iBookstore application. "

The diagram apple said is as below ;

At this point, I'm so confused about legal entity name.
In IRS SS4 form(for asking EIN), Line 1 is for legal name of entity(company's name) and Line 3 is for representitive person's name, as I know.
So, I entered my company name as legal entity name for applying iBookstore online application.

But on that diagram as above, apple is saying that representative name is legal entity name.

What's the truth?
Plz let me know.

My understanding is there is a Legal Entity Name and there is a Doing Business As (DBA) name. It all depends on what you register as with the IRS and what you enter in your iBookstore application must match the Legal Entity Name you registered with the IRS. So if you registered with the IRS with Jane Appleseed as the legal name then that's the one you must enter.
