movie wont be copied to a 4th gen ipod touch

I bought a movie and before i plugged my ipod into the computer it worked fine. After I plugged it into the computer however a message came up saying that the video is unable to be copied because it couldnt be played on my device. The music videos that i have purchased have worked fine but a full length movie wont play.
