Q: my ipod does not show up on i tunes

i have the older modle i pod and it does not show up on my i tunes nor starts up. when i turn my ipod on it shows the "ipod.com/support/ipod" with a sad faced tv? can i some how fix this?

Sounds like it's hard drive is dying. In that case, see this Apple support document.
