No audio on imported Video files, tried everything. APPLE FIX THIS!!

Losing my patience, several attempts resulted in no audio on newly imported video.

I have seen others posts with the same problem. I use imovie 11 it's easy, I don't need all the

bells and wishes of Final Cut. When the **** is there going to be a fix? I am getting more behind by the day.

No help yet. FIX THIS!
