No 3G signal on iPad 2 wifi + 3G

If you have tried restarting the iPad (shut down, leave for 5 or more minutes then turn back on again) then you could try a restore to factory settings, just make sure you backup in iTunes first so you have a copy of everything on your iPad first.

If that does not work, I would book an appointment with a Genius at the Apple store.

yes i recently got a new ipad3 wifi plus 3g used it for only one day it was fine but the other morning i was not getting 3g at all tried reset network settings and all those stuff i get full signal bars with capital E next to my carier's name but no 3g i tried the data sim in my iphone 4s works fine and changed the sim which was in my iphone to the ipad 3 the same thing so i think there is an option to enable 3g if any body has the solution please reply i am a bit scared :p

before restoring i tried rest all settings and after the device restarted 3G was there ....thank god becuz i did want to lose youtube application on my 5.1.1 , which also indicates that this issue is from settings only .... hope this helps people. thanks every body for your support :)

im still having the same problem. i have a plan sim but it does not work on i pad. it always has either low or no signal at all. when i use it on the wifi unit, it has signal. when i use it on other unit like my htc, its working
