How do I connect my ipad to a JBL Radial?

You would need either a dock extension cable, available from some third-party cable companies, and hope that the JBL supports the iPad - no guarantees that it will since nothing I can find indicates that it will support anything other than the non-iOS iPods - or connect the headphone jack of the iPad to the Radial's input.
