home sharing error (-3253)?

I'm trying to home shome from my Apple Macbook Pro to my Windows PC and I got this message 'Home Sharing could not be activated (-3253).

What does this mean and how can I fix it. I have had no trouble woth my other pc laptop, nor Ipad. I cannot figure out what to do next. Help
