View Wired DHCP Clients?

I'm trying to set up a network camera that requires that I find the camera's IP address. AirPort Utility 6.1 shows me wireless clients when I hover over each AirPort device, but the camera is plugged into one of the Time Capsule's ethernet ports. Any idea how to find the IP addresses for wired devices?

You might want to download and install the much more useful AirPort Utility 5.6 for Mac OS X Lion

Both AirPort Utility 5.6 and 6.x can be kept on your Mac.

Open AirPort Utility 5.6, select the Time Capsule and click on Manual Setup

Click the Advanced icon

Click Logs and Statistics

Wireless Clients and DHCP Clients (which include both wireless and wired clients) will be displayed

This assumes that the Time Capsule is acting as the main router for your network.

If you only see a tab for Wireless Clients, the Time Capsule is in Bridge Mode and you will need to look for the information about wired clients on the device that is handling the routing services for your network.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why such BASIC functionality of being able to view a list of DHCP clients from the Airport Utility? Just what is the logic to it. This is hardly advanced stuff!! At times Apple really does seem to be going backwards. Dumbing down or what???

You don't need it on idevices IF the only thing you are worried about is THOSE devices. If the Airport Utility is there as the means to manage your network however, (and given that it's the ONLY way you can access the AEBS that's what it IS there for), it needs to AT LEAST have the same basic functionality as the crappiest $10 routers will give you via web GUI.
