How do I get 2560x1600 with a 30" Dell display in Bootcamp on the Retina MBP

I had a MBA 11" that recognized the 30" Dell 3007WFP display at its native resolution.

To get it to work in Mountain Lion I used the "hold option when scaling" trick. Success.

Bootcamp though isn't working.

Since getting Retina MBP and Mountain Lion Bootcamp NVIDIA graphic drivers installed, I can play games on the Retina at 2880x1800 fine, and the external only works at 1280x800. It shows that it can go up to 2560x1600 but it doesn't actually work.

Is there something wrong with Apple's adapter for Thunderbolt to DVI-D Dual Link and the new drivers or the MBP Retina's Thunderbolt port? The display is only receiving Single Link instead of Dual Link, limiting the resolution to 1280x800 instead of 2560x1600.

hi guys

before I bought Retina, I did a little research on the internet...

I remember reading that for the time being, you cannot use retina MBP with other displays at max or higher resolution under bootcamp...

I read that the driver for this retina mbp video card was Apple Mac OsX specific or something like that.

Therefore, no support under other than Mac osx environment yet...

I don't know if I made myself clear...

you can do a little research on the internet and you'll easily find articles talking about this issue...
