Q: Need Help

I just bought a macbook on ebay with limited usage and a forgotten admin password.Need the password to have the max usage i should have such as changing time zones, downloading, an strange enough it even has a shut off time. So i tryed to put in the install cd so i could change the admin password. well i rebooted it an held option like it said then after the chim a lock showed up askin for a password. i looked around an tryed to use the single user mood (command+s). it dosnt work. it seems like everything i try theres a need for admin password. tryed to use terminal an the keychain hoping the password was saved on it but it wont even allow me to do that without a password. like i said needs a admin password for everything. NEED HELP plz
