Okay, so for some reason my ipod touch 4th gen will not show up in my itunes, i looked up some ways to resolve my issue and it said for me to update my itunes, so i tried updating my itunes and it will not update it, it said something about it failing to do it and contact your device manufactuers, i don't understand what they want me to do for that, so i moved on to the next thing, they said for me to reset my ipod, well i take many pictures and videos from my ipod that i do not want to lose, i do not think they were ever backed-up onto my itunes... will resetting my ipod delete all of these? please help!

    - The following reset is defined in the User Guide and nothing is lost:

Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    - I would first try updating iTunes. What was the exact working of the error message?

    - You might have better luck with the iTunes problem by posting in the iTunes forum.
