When I view a PDF in Safari on my iPad, how can I find a word in the text?  Thanks.

iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 4.3.3, iOS 4.3.5 Safari 6533.18.5

There should be a magnifying glass icon top right corner of the PDF file window. Tap that once then enter the word you're searching for.

And here's a tip. You can search Safari website pages by tapping once in the search field top right corner of the Safari window. From the drop down menu tap, "On This Page".

I know how to find text "on this page" when viewing a webpage.  But I don't see any magnifying glass icon to find text in a PDF.

The standard Safari "On this page" textfield also works with PDF documents, not only with simple Web pages. (Just tested this under iOS 5.1.1.)
