Heard that my MacBook will not be supported for Mountain Lion

Using a late 2008 - currently with Lion. There are sounds that the following models will not be able to use Mountain Lion

  • iMac (Mid 2007 or newer)
  • Macbook (End 2008 or newer)
  • Macbook Pro (Mid/End 2007 or newer)
  • Macbook Air (End 2008 or newer)
  • Mac Mini (Early 2009 or newer)
  • Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer)
  • Xserve (Early 2009)

Can the supplier confirm that ?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.1)

Those models can run it, so you can install it. If you have Snow Leopard, upgrade it to 10.6.8 and buy it in the App Store when it is released
