increase tab in safari

I have purchased a Mac book Air and I am new to Macintosh, so please help me out here

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

basically it's the same with any browser you use, either it is safari, chrome... You have on the top bar the option to open new tabs in safari, it's that what you wanted? regards,

At the end of the tab bar there is a + icon. Click that or press Command+T. To switch quickly betweent tabs, hold Command+Shift+Left/Right Arrow Keys.
