error -2002

When I try to watch a movie clip (Win7) from my Kodak camera in Quicktime player pro with one particular file I get:"Error -2002: a bad public movie atom was found in the movie" and it just will not play. Does anybody know what that means or what I can do about that?

Hello,

Error -2002 stands for bad public movie atom. It means that your video file is probably corrupt and needs to be repaired.

The movie atom is written at the end of the recording and contains critical information about video format, video frames index, .... Your camera probably experienced a problem at the end of recording, which prevented it from closing the video properly.
