Have a unlocked model# phone but its not unlocked wat can ido about getn it unlocked?as advertised..also whats the trick these hole in the wall wireless stores do to unlock ur phone for two arms and three legs? does anybody have any know how around here?no one can point me in the right derection PLEASE IS THERE A ROCKET SCIENTIST OUT THERE ...EINESTIEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!*** bak

You get it unlocked by asking the carrier to which it is locked. No other method is supported or discussed on an Apple provided forum.
The model number is NOT a reliable indicator of whether or not an iPhone is unlocked.
ONLY the carrier the phone is locked to can legitimately unlock it. Anything else is a hack and will likely brick the phone eventually.
Contact the carrier it is locked to. If you don't know who that is, ask whoever you got it from. If they don't know or you can't ask them, call Apple Care and see if they can tell you.
