Mouse commands?

Can the mouse perform this command that one can do on their keyboard? The keyboard command to bring up the applications in use is "command tab". I noticed on 3 or 4 occassions without me touching the keyboard "command tab" that those programs I had opened just popped up? Is that something the mouse can do? I had a regular apple mouse with roller and right click and it did. I have now the logitech mouse with roller and right click and it did it? I don't know how those programs can randomly pop up? Would anyone know if the mouse can do this?
