If none of the 5 R's are able to resolve the issue, it's likely a hardware issue, meaning you'll need to have the iPod serviced/replaced either by Apple or a third party service.

Jul 12, 2012 5:42 PM in response to planb77by Najwagirl,Yes i followed those steps as well for some reason the wheel doesn't work and can't make selections. If i move the hold back or forth the screen lights up and lock appears on screen just can't seem to make selections with the feel.
