my ipods music and videos are all gone but its still taking memory up?
i don't understand whats going on...

Care to elaborate? Did you try to delete everything from your iPod, or did everything spontaneously dissapear?

I was plugging it in so it could charge, I didn't want everything to go away it just did.
Hehe. Did you delete "everything" from your iTunes library?
nope, its all still there
Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes, and the latest firmware for your iPod (v. 1.1). Set iTunes to "automatically update all songs..." and check all songs in your library, then update your iPod again. If everything is still missing from your iPod, try resetting your iPod (hold Menu and Select for about 5 seconds, sometimes longer).
