Q: How can prevent the Home button on my white iPad from getting dirt inside it and also properly clean the sides as well

im trying to figure out a way to keep home button clean and not make it look dirty how can i do this?

iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iOS 5.1.1

    Short of enclosing the iPad completely in some sort of case that will prevent dirt from building up around the home butto, there isn't much that you can do. With a white iPad! I would imagine the dirt is even more noticeable. You just have be very careful and diligent about keeping the iPad clean.

    I realize that if you bought a white iPad, you probably don't want to encase it completely, but that might be your best bet. I use an Otterbox Defender which is a mid grade heavy duty case and it also has a built in screen protector, I know many people don't want to ruin part of the iPad experience - the aesthetic factor - by using a case, but I want as much protection as I can get for my iPad. Its really just a matter of personal choice.
