I accedently dropped my ipod in my pool and now it wont turn on all i want to know is if its still covered by the warranty

iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 5.1.1

No. Liquid damage is not covered by the warranty. Apple will exchange it for $99, $149 or $199 depending upon the capacity.
