My IPhone 4S just stopped working, it will not turn off or on, i was using the phone, had sat it down briefly and when i went back to it is was DEAD!!!! HELP!!!! I am leaving to go out of town in the am!!!!

Make sure it is charged. If it died it may take ten minutes of charging before you get any response. After you are sure it is charged or should have been if it still wont turn on hold down the home and power button for 10-15 seconds until you see the silver apple. Release buttons. Hope this works for you.
