USB Webcam and Macam

Hello, i just purchased a Labtec Webcam http://www.pricegrabber.com/searchtechspecsfull.php/masterid=4731526. It's usually just compatible with PCs, but i downloaded Macam and iChatUSBCam http://www.ecamm.com/mac/ichatusbcam/configs.html. The website says that it's compatible, but when i plug in my camera, my computer doesn't pick it up. When i open Macam, the Status reads "No Camera." If anyone has any idea of what's wrong, or how to have the webcam work, then let me know. Thanks.

Hi Maria,

These are the other people but I don't see it listed there.

It take you you are not on an Intel as macam list a Universal driver for Intels and PCCs

The Ecamm page does say that they know a Laptop camera does not work. This would point to there being different drivers for different cameras.

Then there is this page that specifies other drivers for Labtechs MAybe that wil be some help.
