undo upgrade of client to server version

Hello together,

I used Server.app from a client machine (Mac OS X 10.7) for quite a while to manage the Server in a small network.

The other day I must have done somenthing wrong and the client was upgraded to Mac OS X 10.7 Server.

How can I go back to the client verison of Mac OS X.

I do not want to reinstall the client machine.

I allready deletet Server.app from this machine an restartet.

This didnt change anything.

Any help will be apreciated.

Best regards

martin

I don't think so

In Software Update I get the update for Mac OS X 10.7.4 Server.

When I try to add a "Mac OS X Server account" on any machine in the network I get my machine in the list of nearby servers.

This is quite anoying.

In any way my machine must broasdcast itself as server in the network.

It also must make Software Update to check for Server Updates instead of "normal" updates.

I dont think that it would be a big deal to reset the server to client but it is not documented by apple.
