I have been trying to install the font Decker into my Font Book for a job I'm doing but it will not install. Has anyone else had this problem and has been able to solve this dilemma? If so, can you help me out?

Where are you getting the font? How are you trying to install it?
From legit sites and I'm downloading it, unzipping it and putting it in my font book but my font book has 'problems' with this font and will not install any of the Decker.ttf fonts I've tried to install. I've gone to sites to buy the font too.
I also don't know why I have Font Book 198.4 when I have Mac OS X 7, I think I'm supposed to have Font Book 3. I can't seem to find out if that's the issue....
Any thoughts?

I can confirm that the latest version of Lion does come with Font Book 198.4.
Maybe a font expert here can chime in.

What app are you using to do the website?
When you unzip the file, what do you actually see on the desktop?
Have you tried putting the font directly into the HD > Library > Fonts folder?

Be aware that if you use a non standard web font, only those very few other users who just happen to have Decker active will see the web page as you intend.
