is there any way to connect to the ethernet and have an external display hooked up on the macbook air
there is only one thunderbolt port and the thunderbolt ethernet adapter does not have an extra thunderbolt socket to allow daisy chaining - unless there is one i dont know of ?
You could use this 10/100 usb ethernet adapter and leave your Thunderbolt port for an external display.
isnt one of the main attractions of thunderbolt the daisy chaining? why dont apple just create an adapter that allows daisy chaining ?
these usb adapters are slower than the thunderbolt ones. they are not even usb 3.0. its the only thing thats stopping me getting a mac at the moment
