MacBook Pro shuts down unexpectedly, while on battery, after about 6-7 minutes. Then will not restart unless on charger. Works normally while on eternal power (charger).

MacBook Pro shuts down unexpectedly while on battery power after about 6 minutes of working normally. To make it start, must plug in external power (charger). While on charger it will work fine. Have tried to intall TS3423, it apparently does not apply for this Mac. Any idea how to correct this behavior?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Try these as well:

These basically reset the electricity and connections throughout the computer.

With the SMC reset, it varies depending on the model of your computer so make sure your in the right steps.

If you're unsure, post the model and year of your computer and I'll explain it. 🙂
