Jul 14, 2012 10:35 AM in response to hlysnanby Ronda Wilson,Hi, and welcome to Apple Support Communities.
There is no such thing as a 2007 iBook. Apple quit producing iBooks in 2005.
Do you really have two iBooks? Check out this list, and tell us which exact model they are:

Or are they MacBooks (which were introduced in 2006)? In which case, check out this list:

Let us know for certain which model you have, and maybe we can help you sort things out.

Feb 14, 2014 6:41 PM in response to hlysnanby pipkin0101,If you are elegible to upgrade to Mavericks, you will probably need to get a new router. The Belkin (not "Belking") N150 F9K1001 wireless router isn't compatible with Mavericks. Belkin confirms this. And the router has not been able to maintain a reliable internet connection thoguh this router since Snow Leopard. Beyond that, it's WPA 2 works okay. I don't think Airport (or your model of Mac) has anything to do with this -- Airport is for configuring Apple Routers and can't touch the Belkin router.
