Can I create spreadsheets on the app Numbers and still be able to print the finished product without having to go through Microsoft Word? If so, how do I do this? Thanks.

I only have an iPad and I'm not sure if I can just print off straight from my iPad. Can I do this?
I don't have any iOS device with Numbers on it so this is purely speculation....
1) try to export to a pdf which you mail to your email on your computer.
2) save the Numbers file on your iOS device to a drop box, then open using Numbers on your computer
3) use the online Numbers for iOS help http://help.apple.com/numbers/ipad/1.6/
