The Mac App Store does not offer movies for download, only iTunes.

Click here > iTunes Store: Which types of items can I buy in my country?

Pakistan is not listed under Video Content. It may be a digital rights management issue.

Your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside.

"Although you can browse the iTunes Store in any country without being signed in, you can only purchase content from the iTunes Store for your own country. This is enforced via the billing address associated with your credit card or other payment method that you use with the iTunes Store, rather than your actual geographic location."

    Hi CS,

    Thanks for the prompt response.

Thanks for the correction it is itune not app store.

What ever you have indicated about the country and credit/debit card associated with it,like me most of the individual knew it very well.Since one has to pay to purchase any thing then it does not involve the digital rights management issue,I believe this absurd policy of Apple to deprive one region to enjoy the movie rental/purchase down load fcility, it has to been revived and I need all of you guys help to convince Apple to change its f***** policies.

    take care

I also live in a culture very different from that found in most 1st world nations, such as that in the two dominant North American countries. Written language has no tone. Apple is in business to make money. So it is silly to think that Apple would not want to sell or rent movies to folks in Pakistan. The issue is that Apple does not own the content in the stores, Apple merely sells the content. Apple can only sell what it is licensed by the content owners to sell. Currently, the movie industry has not licensed Apple to sell movies in Pakistan. The people who you need to convince isn't Apple, but the movie industry. You need to convince the movie industry, the folks who actually own the movies, to allow Apple to rent and sell movies in the Pakistan iTunes Store. When you are successful with that goal, Apple will be happy to sell or rent to you all of the movies that you can afford.
