Hello there, My MBP 15'' keeps disconnecting from the interenet via wi-fi if im idle for a few minutes. I've looked for the system preferences, but it's still dropping the line. My older MacBook works seamlessly without dropping the wi-fi. Any suggestion?

Hello I think I may have a solution.
If your internet connection is password protected, enter your password again and turn your wifi on. If it isn't protected try reseting your macbook. Hope i helped!

I'm following your situation because I'm having the exact same problem mine only started acting up after I did the last software upgrade is that the same issue for you? Contacting customer support was useless I think I know more than they do! Mine hangs if my machine is dormet for more than 5 or 10 mins. It shows I'm connected but there was no activity so I need to ask it to search for networks sometimes it connects other times I need to reboot my machine but it still continues to hang. Sheila
