I cannot get used to the touch screen for texting! I am a touch typist and know my keys, but this is pure frustration!
Is there any chance Apple will come out with a Qwerty keyboard for iPhone?! The lack of one is the only thing I
hate about my iPhone! đ
PS: I saw the clip-on keyboard (like a case). Not interested: it covers camera flash.

Keyboard would be nice. Be great for Apps like Tetris.
For others who use the iPhone screen keyboard, within Settings App>General>Keyboard there are QWERTY plus Dvorak and numerous other layouts.
I believe most Bluetooth keyboards will work with the iPhone. I have a tiny one that cost ÂŁ12 at a computer fair, but I don't use it because it is not much bigger than the in-screen keyboard.
If you are texting, surely the QWERTY keyboard is better than the conventional "press this button x times for character y"? Can you name a phone from any manufacturer that meets the standard of touch typing for texting?
I am referring to a physical Qwerty keyboard, not a virtual touch screen one. I do not like the iPhone touch screen for texting. In trying out a friend's Android with slide Qwerty keyboard, I found it to be much, much easier to text with! Hoping to see one for the iPhone!
As tonefox mentioned, Bluetooth keyboards work with the iPhone, so there are dozens already available. You can see one instantly if you search on Google for 'iPhone Bluetooth keyboard'.
